Robert G Frykberg, DPM, MPH, MAPWCA, FRSM, FFPM (Glasg) is a graduate of the California College of Podiatric Medicine in 1976. Dr Frykberg went on to complete his residency training at the New England Deaconess Hospital in Boston. He served as the President of the Massachusetts Podiatric Medical Society and a Member of the Board of Registration in Podiatry. From 1992 to 1994, he attended the Harvard School of Public Health and graduated with a Master of Public Health degree with a concentration in quantitative methods. After 21 years of private practice, Dr Frykberg accepted the position as Clinical Dean of the Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery prior to moving to Phoenix. After 15 years of dedicated service to our Veterans, Dr Frykberg has decided to retire from his role as Chief of Podiatry at the Phoenix VA Medical Center and as Director of the Phoenix VA Medical Center Podiatric Residency Program. He continues to hold the academic rank of Professor, University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix and Adjunct Professor, Midwestern University Program in Podiatric Medicine. Currently, Dr Frykberg is Clinical Professor and Residency Director, Department of Orthopaedics, at UT Health San Antonio, Division of Podiatry in San Antonio, Texas. His research and writing interests have included all facets of lower extremity disorders, but are specifically focused on diabetic foot ulcers, infections, Charcot foot, and wound care. The author of nearly 100 peer-reviewed publications, he has also been the Editor of two textbooks: The High-Risk Foot in Diabetes Mellitus (1991) and the Diabetic Charcot Foot (2010). His expertise in the Diabetic Foot translated into hundreds of speaking invitations nationally and internationally with numerous lecture engagements in China, India, Russia, South America, the UK, Vietnam, Japan, Indonesia, Italy, and across Europe.

Harold Schoenhaus, DPM, FACFAS is a board-certified foot, rearfoot, and reconstructive ankle surgeon by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is a past president and current fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He holds staff appointments and operating privileges at the University of Pennsylvania Presbyterian Hospital and Chestnut Hill hospital. Dr Schoenhaus' research and clinical interests are in biomechanics, pathomechanics and reconstructive surgery, including joint replacement surgery and pediatric podiatric surgery. Moreover, Dr Schoenhaus is the surgical editor for PRESENT e-Learning Systems, an online medical education and networking resource dedicated to improving the knowledge and skills of healthcare professionals throughout the world. He is a nationally recognized lecturer and pioneer in the field of lower extremity pathomechanics and reconstructive surgery. Dr Schoenhaus has authored several landmark articles in peer-reviewed journals and books. In 2015 Dr Schoenhaus was the recipient of the Gallery of Success Award from Temple University.

Charles Andersen, MD, FACS, MAPWCA serves as Chief of the Wound Care Service and Medical Director of the Wound Care Clinic at Madigan Army Medical Center, where he also holds the position of Emeritus Chief of the Vascular/Endovascular/Limb Preservation Service. After graduating from Utah State University, Dr Andersen earned his medical degree at the University of Utah, where he also completed an internship and one year of surgical training. He then entered military service, completing his surgical residency at Madigan Army Medical Center and a Vascular Surgery Fellowship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. During his distinguished 20-year military career, his leadership positions included Program Director in General Surgery and Chief of the Department of Surgery at Madigan Army Medical Center. Following his retirement from the Army, he continued his service as a civilian Chief of the Vascular Surgery Service at Madigan. A prolific contributor to medical literature, Dr Andersen has authored over 150 peer-reviewed publications and delivered more than 500 professional presentations on vascular surgery, limb preservation, and wound care at national and international venues. He serves as Clinical Professor of Surgery at both the University of Washington and the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences.

Ryan Fitzgerald, DPM, FACFAS was born in Charlottesville, Virginia and spent his childhood between living overseas and in central Virginia. He attended Hampden Sydney College, in Virginia, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Biology. Upon graduation, he pursued a career in medicine and moved to Miami, Florida, where he attended Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. While enrolled at Barry University, Dr Fitzgerald earned top marks in his didactic and clinical coursework consistently earning a place on the Dean and President lists, as well as earning both Leadership and Faculty scholarships. He graduated at the top of his class and was inducted into the Pi Delta National Podiatry Honor Society in recognition of his outstanding scholastic achievement. He was also awarded the American Board of Podiatric Surgery's prestigious Michael L Stone Professional Conduct Award. Following graduation, Dr Fitzgerald pursued his residency training at the MEDSTAR Washington Hospital Center, and at Georgetown University Hospital, in Washington DC. This program provided vast exposure to all facets of podiatric medical and surgical care, including advanced wound care techniques, diabetic limb salvage, pediatric deformity correction and reconstructive and trauma surgery of the foot and ankle. Dr Fitzgerald has a passion for medical missions and has served as a volunteer surgeon on missions around the world, most recently serving in the middle east, where he helped to staff forward operating field hospitals where he, and others, provided provides medical and surgical care to patients suffering as a consequence of the on-going Syrian refugee crisis. Dr Fitzgerald has also served as an attending physician Port-au-Prince, Haiti, where he worked alongside Haitian wound care specialists to perform limb-sparing surgery.

In 2019, Dr Hingorani was awarded the Castle Connolly Regional Top Doctor recognition and made the Marquis Who's Who in the World list. He has also authored numerous peer-reviewed publications throughout his career. As a highly respected vascular surgeon in his native state of New York, Dr Hingorani belongs to several professional organizations, including the American Board of Vascular Surgery, the International Union of Angiology, and the Society of Vascular Ultrasound. James McGuire, DPM, LPT, LPed, DABFAS, DABPM, FAPWHc is the director of the Leonard Abrams Center for Advanced Wound Healing and a Clinical Professor in the Departments of Podiatric Medicine and Podiatric Biomechanics at the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr McGuire earned his DPM degree from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in 1981. He is a fellow and founding member of the American Professional Wound Care Association and the Academy of Physicians in Wound Healing and serves as an advisor to the board of the Council for Medical Education and Testing. Dr McGuire is a licensed Physical Therapist, a licensed Pedorthist, and is Certified in Wound Care by the Council for Medical Education and Testing (CMET). He is also board certified by both the American Board of Podiatric Surgery (ABPS) and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM). After completing his residency in podiatric surgery, Dr McGuire left 10 years of private practice in Rutland Vermont to become a member of the Temple faculty in 1992. He has over 40 years of experience in podiatric medicine, physical therapy, and wound management. He has published extensively and has participated in several research trials involving the diabetic foot and wound healing. Dr McGuire has lectured both nationally and internationally and is in great demand as a speaker in the areas of wound healing, diabetic foot management, off-loading, and biomechanics of the at-risk foot. Dr Phillips is a past Professor of Podiatric Medicine at Des Moines University and a past Residency Director at Coatesville VA Hospital. Bhavesh Shah, DPM, EdD, MBA, is a board-certified podiatric physician and surgeon in practice since 2002 and Co-Director of Operation Footprint. Dr Shah received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois in Chicago and then attended Dr. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in North Chicago, IL, where he received a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine in 1998. In 1999, Dr Shah interned at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and completed a three-year residency at the Foot and Ankle Institute of Monrovia, California, in 2002. Jarrod Shapiro, DPM, FACFAS, FACPM is a Board-Certified podiatric foot and ankle physician and surgeon who has been in practice for almost 20 years. Marie Williams, DPM, DABPS, DHLS, is board certified in foot and ankle surgery and a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Dr Williams was the first clinical dean at Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine and is currently an Adjunct Professor for the school. Dr Williams has been in private practice since 1984. She is currently the Chairman of the Department of Podiatry at Aventura Hospital and Medical Center. She has been involved in residency training since 1986 and a Program Director in Podiatric Surgery and Medicine since 1988. Dr Williams is a speaker in the field of foot and ankle surgery as well as limb salvage. She has published several articles on the healing of complex wounds and limb salvage, while also authoring a chapter: Bone Infections in Foot and Ankle Radiology. In August 2014, Dr Williams was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts along with her teammates from Immaculata College. Their team, the Mighty Macs, captured three consecutive Championships.
